One-day class
A one-day children's workshop at the Nam June Paik Art Center, part of the exhibition program for 《Saekdong: Space Opera》 during the first Nam June Paik Media Art Festival. The children began inside the replica of Paik's old studio, where they took a deep breath of the room's air, and with it, perhaps a few invisible traces of the artist. Right after, they extracted their own DNA, now imagined to carry a little of Paik's, and used it to paint small postcard-size works.
Psients was invited by the program's main instructor and designed and ran the session alone, bringing biotechnology into hands-on arts education for children.
