In shaping the mobility of the future, psychoacoustics and sound technology were used to create personalized sound experiences for users.

This process involved developing a method to create user-specific psychoacoustic hearing profiles and curating music experiences tailored to each individual.

By the end of the project, a working prototype was developed that could, within two minutes, detect and optimize a listener’s music and overall sound hearing profile inside the cabin. The result was improved perceived audio quality and loudness, as well as effective attenuation of road and ambient noise—all without increasing the actual decibel level of the music.
