Psients is a scientist-turned-artist exploring the intersection of biology, sound, and music, and the director of Critical Biology. His work centers on developing and performing 'living' instruments to meditate on posthumanism, multi-agency intelligence, and our relationships with manipulated living systems. Linking scientific innovation with musical comprehensibility, his work spans techniques including biotechnology, sound design, and live performance.
